Sberbank of Russia publishes its Annual Report for 2011

OJSC Sberbank of Russia has issued its Annual Report for 2011,
which combines the bank’s financial results with those from its
Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Click here to access the report.
It
is the second report by OJSC Sberbank of Russia, prepared in compliance
with the GRI standard of reporting. The Report corresponds to GRI
Application Level B which is an improvement over 2010’s “C” level. It
demonstrates the significant progress made by the bank with regards to
the planning and disclosure of information on the completion of its CSR
goals. The Report places an emphasis on OJSC Sberbank of
Russia’s main priorities in CSR established in 2011. These are based on
the results of the Bank’s dialogue with major stakeholder groups
(customers, employees, state and society, shareholders and investors),
and includes the bank’s commitment to:
- fostering the economic development of the country
- increasing the quality of its products and services
- promoting the accessibility of services
- investing in human assets
- charity and sponsorship
- reducing its environmental impact
- developing its corporate management
The
Report covers major initiatives by OJSC Sberbank and the results
obtained in each of the above priority areas. The report covers the
bank’s management approach to the implementation of its CSR initiatives.
The Report also describes the approach of the Bank to the development
of dialogue with interested parties. Publication of the 2011
Report shows the commitment of OJSC Sberbank to reach its financial and
non-financial goals using principles of responsible business and in
